Submitting a notice
A rights holder or authorised representative may submit a notice identifying the protected work, the exact URL or location of the disputed material, contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement and evidence of authority.
Review process
Notices are reviewed for completeness and relevance. Access to disputed material may be restricted while a claim is assessed. Additional information may be requested from the reporting party or content provider.
Counter-notices and repeat issues
Where applicable, a content provider may be allowed to respond to a notice. Repeated or serious infringement may result in content removal, access restriction or account action.
False or misleading notices
Submitting knowingly false or misleading information may have legal consequences. Notices should be made only by parties with a genuine rights-based concern.
